We do not recommend putting stuff inside the vehicle. As a courtesy, you may be able to put up to 100 lbs. in trunk. Please make sure it is discreet and not visible from outside. If you exceed the weight limit and fully load the vehicle, the drivers can charge you extra. Some drivers will accept a tip ($50-$250) for hauling extra stuff, but some won’t.

There are two ways you can pay for your auto transport service. If you choose a Discounted Price, we will take a small partial payment from your credit or debit card when we find and assign a carrier. You’ll then pay the balance upon delivery of your vehicle. You can pay with cash, cashier’s check, or money order. If you decide to go with the Regular Price, we’ll collect the total amount when we assign a carrier to your shipment.
2. We pick up your vehicle
Your assigned car shipping service will contact you a few hours before your scheduled pick-up to confirm the details. The driver also needs to know whether the location is safe and legal for a large commercial vehicle. If it isn’t, don’t worry; alternative arrangements can be made, such as using a parking lot, a wider street nearby, or your workplace. The call is also to ensure that someone will be available to release the vehicle. If you cannot be present at the pick-up, you can nominate a third party, like a neighbor, friend, relative, or work colleague, to act on your behalf, provided they are over 18 years of age.
You and the auto transport driver will first inspect your vehicle together. Any existing damage to the exterior will be documented on the Bill of Lading. Both of you will sign this important document, and your vehicle will then be ready for loading. Remember to keep your copy of the Bill of Lading safe.
Once your car begins its journey with our nationwide auto transport service, you can receive regular updates via email, Live Chat, or over the phone from our shipping advisors, ensuring you stay informed throughout the vehicle transportation process.
3. You receive your vehicle
The car transport carrier involved in your car shipping process will get in touch a few hours before they make their delivery. They prefer to provide a few hours' notice so you can ensure you’re available for the delivery. If you’re unavailable, it's not a problem; simply nominate a neighbor, friend, acquaintance, or colleague to accept the delivery on your behalf. Just remember, they must be over 18 years of age.
After a thorough inspection of your vehicle to confirm everything is in order, you will need to sign the Bill of Lading as acceptance of your vehicle transportation. If you opted for the Discounted Price, this is when you will make your final payment, either in cash, money order, or cashier's check. If you chose the Regular Price, there is no balance due when your car is delivered. Once your car is unloaded, you can simply drive it away.
